Pastor Bethany

Pastor Bethany began serving at Bethel Lutheran Church on December 1, 2011. She was ordained and installed at Bethel Lutheran Church as Pastor on December, 18, 2011. Raised in Osakis, MN, Pastor Bethany moved to Saint Paul where she received her BA from Hamline University and her MDiv from Luther Seminary. During that time, she completed her pastoral internship serving the student congregation at St. Olaf Collegein Northfield, MN. Following graduation, Bethany spent a year completing a post-graduate CPE program, working as a Chaplain Resident at the St. Cloud VA.

The Nelson household is a busy one, as both Bethany and her husband, Luke, are pastors. Luke is pastor of Le Sueur United Methodist Church. Bethany and Luke reside in Le Sueur, MN with Caesar, their Great Pyrenees.

Tamie Foust, secretary

Tamie and her husband, Ron, are active members of Bethel and the Lester Prairie community. Tamie has served as Bethel’s secretary since the fall of 2011.
