Worship

At Bethel we gather together to worship God; Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer.
Gathered by the Spirit we celebrate the good news of Jesus Christ, who came so that we may know the love of our Creator.

Our worship is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles.  Some weeks there is an organ, others a praise band, and others will have maracas for children to play.  We sing, we pray, we hear the Word of God through scripture and preaching, we worship the Lord with offerings of our voices and treasures, and we invite the Holy Spirit into ourselves through Holy Communion.

Worship opens us to hear God’s voice, draws us to one another, and equips us to serve God’s world.

We do our best to plan worship services that speak about and to the whole people of God, rather than one segment or age-group. The people of Bethel come from all kinds of religious and no-so religious backgrounds.  We invite you and welcome you to come and worship as you are and be who you are! Wear jeans or a three-piece suit, come alone or with friends or family, arrive early or late, but come to receive and share God’s grace and love.

All are invited and all are welcome!
